Two Panel Discussions on Property Management
PANEL MEMBERS:
Robin Cox: She and her husband, Jay, started purchasing properties 3 1/2 years ago. Their goal was 10 houses in 5 years. They already have 12 houses in 3 years. They do their own managing of their rentals which are all in Hamilton. Lew Hollinger: He is a Founding Father of our Association (IPOA) which started in 1987. He graduated from Fairfield High School and has been investing in real estate since before 1970. Currently, he is a member of companies that own 80 multi-family properties ranging from single to 36 units. Coyt Rains: He is a second generation realtor from Butler County for the past 47 years. He is a “hands-on” investor. He doesn’t usually do the repair and remodeling but is in charge of everything that needs to be done especially managing his properties. Tabitha Buell: Here is a local gal who learned to manage properties by listening to others, attending BCREIA (aka IPOA) meetings, going to the courthouse, and all the things she needed by “doing”. Twenty years later, she focuses on managing not Buying/Selling of properties. Bob Rothman: He and his wife, Martha, have been investing for the last 20 years. His company, Gold Coast Realty, started 13 years ago. They currently manage properties in Middletown, Hamilton and Fairfield. He spends his time teaching many aspects of property management to beginning and experienced investors.
